Gelaterra — is a local gelateria in the heart of Staten Island (New York) that offers authentic ice cream made by hand according to traditional recipes. The main idea behind the brand is to bring visitors back to the true taste of natural gelato without preservatives, colorants, or flavor enhancers. The assortment includes classic and signature flavors, as well as gluten-free and lactose-free desserts, which allows the brand to attract a wider audience, including people with dietary restrictions.
Gelaterra — is not just ice cream, but a place with soul, where customers are welcomed like friends. The gelateria’s space is designed for relaxation: from family visits to romantic dates and even local events. Everything, from the recipes to the design of the establishment, conveys a philosophy of quality, care, and sincerity.
The client approached us with a need to launch the brand’s online presence from scratch. The main goal was to create an attractive WordPress website that would not only reflect the aesthetics of the gelateria, but also be user-friendly, responsive, and easy to navigate. An important task was to develop a modern, visually light design that conveys an atmosphere of comfort and naturalness without visual overload.
Special attention had to be paid to the user experience — navigation had to be intuitive, and the site structure logical. A separate block was the implementation of the ability to book events online, since the gelateria space is actively used for celebrations, meetings, and children’s events. In parallel with the technical and design aspects, we had to ensure full SEO optimization of the site.
In general, the project required a comprehensive approach — from idea to implementation — and was intended to become a high-quality entry point for new customers and a tool for developing the local brand in the online environment.
