About DIGNITAS
Dignitas is a civic initiative that has been systematically supporting Ukraine’s defense capabilities, the development of the veteran community, and the establishment of democratic values since 2013. Its mission is to promote the formation of a free and strong society capable of contributing to global security and prosperity.
The foundation’s key areas of activity are:
— raising funds and purchasing equipment for the military;
— training civilians and military personnel;
— professional adaptation and reintegration of veterans;
— attracting international support;
— advocating for Ukraine’s interests on the world stage.
The foundation is also actively developing the information front — through articles, blogs, and analytical materials, Dignitas promotes Ukraine’s voice in the world, unites like-minded people, and forms a support community.
Challenges We Faced
At the start of our collaboration with Dignitas, we encountered several key obstacles that were hindering organic traffic growth:
Lack of SEO content on priority topics
Although the website covered the initiative’s activities, it lacked optimized content on military support, volunteer projects, programs for veterans, etc.
Low visibility in search engines
Important queries such as “support Ukrainian veterans” or “Ukraine drone training support” ranked poorly on Google due to a lack of relevant content.
Lack of a content plan and regularity of publications
New articles appeared unevenly, without a strategic approach, which reduced the overall effectiveness of the blog.
Solution
Strategic Topic Clustering
To establish Dignitas as a thought leader in the defense nonprofit niche, we identified and developed high-impact content pillars. We focused on creating clusters around topics like “Drone Technology” and “Veteran Reintegration,” building interlinked articles that demonstrate deep topical authority.
Data-Driven Content Planning
We moved away from sporadic updates to a consistent, strategic content calendar. This systematic approach improved the site’s “crawl budget” and provided both users and search engines with a steady stream of fresh, relevant material.
Optimization for High-Intent Keywords
Our strategy targeted specific search phrases used by potential international donors and partners. By optimizing content for queries like “Ukraine drone training support,” we ensured the foundation appeared at the forefront of global conversations regarding defense support.
Advocacy and Storytelling
We balanced technical reporting with human-centric storytelling to drive action. This “value-added” content was designed not only to rank well but also to effectively communicate the foundation’s mission, turning readers into active supporters and donors.

Google Search Console Organic Traffic Growth: +60.3%
We delivered a significant boost in user engagement by focusing on high-intent keywords and expert content.
7,289 additional clicks generated compared to the 12,078 baseline.
Organic traffic reached a new peak with over 7.29K total clicks in the analyzed period.
Visibility & Search Performance
Our targeted SEO pages significantly outperformed the rest of the website’s historical data:
Total Impressions: Reached 815K, representing a 55.8% increase in visibility compared to other site sections.
Ranking Improvement: Average position improved from 9.1 to 5.7 — a 37% increase in ranking performance.
Efficiency & Content Impact
Despite the large scale of the foundation’s website, our surgical approach delivered outsized results:
While our 6 new pages represent only 1.4% of the site structure (432 pages total), they now generate 38% of all organic traffic.
Page Efficiency: Each WayDigit-optimized page generates approximately 43x more traffic than the average existing page on the site.

Google Analytics
Overall, the website has seen significant growth in traffic across all major organic channels. The total number of sessions increased from 18,071 to 31,963, representing a massive 76.87% increase year-over-year.
1. Google / Organic
Google remains the primary driver of traffic, accounting for over 97% of all sessions.
Sessions: Grew from 17,788 to 31,186 (+75.32%).
Engaged Sessions: Increased from 11,669 to 18,848 (+61.52%).
Event Count: Rose by 13.04%, reaching a total of 178,904 events.
Engagement: While the engagement rate slightly dipped by 7.87% (to 60.44%), the average engagement time per session remained stable at 51 seconds.
2. Bing / Organic
Bing has shown explosive growth, more than doubling its contribution to the site’s traffic.
Sessions: Surged from 196 to 503, a remarkable 156.63% increase.
Engaged Sessions: Jumped from 112 to 313 (+179.46%).
Quality of Traffic: Unlike other channels, Bing saw an improvement in engagement metrics, with the Average Engagement Time increasing by 21.84% to 1m 07s.
3. DuckDuckGo / Organic
Though it represents a smaller share of the total traffic, DuckDuckGo showed the highest percentage growth among the top three.
Sessions: Increased from 28 to 134, which is a staggering 378.57% growth.
Engaged Sessions: Rose from 19 to 82 (+331.58%).
Event Count: Grew by 139%, totaling 815 events compared to 341 in the previous period.
